ATHLETES & COACHES GUIDE
How to Track Your Bouts All Weekend
Smoothcomp is your live event dashboard — it tells you exactly where you are in the schedule and when to be ready.
Here’s how to use it to stay one step ahead;
1. Getting Started
-
Follow our direct link on this page, or scan the QR code on your pass
* Link becomes active late evening this Friday - once bouts are released
Alternatively;
-
Go to smoothcomp.com on your phone, tablet, or laptop.
-
Search for Canadian Muay Thai Open 2025 and click into the event page.
-
Log in with the account you registered with. (You can view without logging in, but logging in lets you quickly find your bouts.)
-
Click My Account → My Competitions to see your matches.
2. Understanding Your Status
Smoothcomp uses a simple “traffic light” style queue system for each ring.
You’ll see your match move through three stages:
🔵 In the Ring
-
This is the bout currently happening in your assigned ring.
-
If this is your match, you should already be with the ring official and ready to start.
🟡 On Deck (Up Next)
-
This means you are next.
-
You should already be fully geared, and in the bullpen area for your ring.
-
Coaches: Be ringside, ready to step in as soon as the current match ends.
🟡 In the Hole (Two Bouts Away)
-
This means there is one match ahead of yours.
-
Be in the holding area by the Gear Table
-
Obtain your Official CMTO gear
-
*Athlete's must trade in their fighter's pass to obtain gear
-
Gear is strictly given out ONLY once you are 2 bout's out from being in your ring
-
Gear must be returned prior to exiting the competition floor
-
Athlete's pass will be returned once gear is received
-
⏳ On Queue (Three Bouts Away)
-
Finalize wraps - have them Signed by an Official
-
Be ready to get your gear
3. How to View the Live Queue
-
From the event page, click "Brackets & Schedule".
-
Select your ring letter (A, B, C).
-
The live queue will show:
-
Who is in the ring now
-
Who is on deck
-
Who is in the hole
-
-
You can refresh the page for real-time updates (or keep it open — it auto-updates every few seconds).
4. Pro Tips
-
Bookmark your ring’s live queue page so you can check it instantly.
-
Matches can move faster or slower than expected — always watch your status, not the estimated start time.
-
Have all gear pre-approved by officials before your “in the hole” call.
-
Coaches: Use the “in the hole” stage to gather your fighter, water, and corner kit so you’re ready to roll.
