ATHLETE CARE AND RECOVERY INITIATIVE
The Canadian Muay Thai Open is proud to introduce the Athlete Care & Recovery Initiative, a tournament-wide commitment to elevating athlete safety, preparation, and well-being.
Working in partnership with Muay Thai Canada and Muay Thai Ontario, CMTO already operates under one of the sport’s most comprehensive rule sets governing medical standards, safety equipment, and bout supervision.
As the event continues to grow, so does our responsibility to the athletes who step into the ring.
This initiative expands support beyond baseline safety by providing enhanced medical coverage, recovery services, and practical fight-week resources—ensuring competitors feel supported, prepared, and protected throughout their tournament experience. 💪🥊
EACH ATHLETE WILL RECEIVE FREE CURATED BAGS ON
AUGUST 13TH - CHECK-IN DAY
